My very first post!!! :)

This is a drawing of me outside on an open field. This is my first picture to show teeth, so they aren't that good, but someday they will be. I've never had a blog before but I wanted to try it out, and make it about this. Before I made this blog I just drew pictures, showed my parents, and went on in life. I'm happy about this blog, because now I don't just have to show my parents, anyone can see them. I like to make the person in the picture have the same expression on that I do. When I drew this picture, I was happy because I had just finished making my blog!!!
I just recently finished a book called "Out of my Mind" By: Sharon M. Draper. I have never read a book before that is good enough that I thought my Mom would be interested in, but I loved it! The inside says something like 'Eleven year old Melody has a photographic memory. Her head is like a video camera that is always recording. Always. And there's no delete button. She's the smartest kid in her whole school-but know one knows it. Most people-her teachers and doctors included- don't think she's capable of learning, and up until recently her school days consisted of listening to the same preschool-level alphabet lessons again and again. If only she could speak up, if only she could tell people what she thinks and knows.... but she can't,because she can't talk. She can't walk. She can't write. Being stuck inside her head is making Melody  go out of her mind, that is until she discovers something that will allow her to speak for the first time ever.At last Melody has a voice... but not everyone around her is ready to hear it.'  Enjoy!

  1. Melody, I' am very impressed that you are blogging at age 10 and that already you are including pictures you drew. That book sounds good! I think I'm going to look that one up at the library. I have four blogs which is sometimes overwhelming, but one is a book blog where my husband and I both review books we've read. Good luck with you blog!

If you would like to see some pictures that I painted, here's a link to that post:
